Here are five ways to add turmeric to your daily diet:
Eggs – Turmeric is a perfect addition to eggs. Use it to season your scrambled, poached, hard-boiled, over-easy and omelets.
Tea – To prepare turmeric tea, adding add 2 ½ teaspoons of turmeric, some fresh lemon juice, and raw honey to boiled water. You can also add ginger, cinnamon, and black pepper.
Smoothies – Add ½ – 1 teaspoon of turmeric to your smoothies and make them extremely healthy. One delicious recipe is as follows: in 2 cups of coconut or almond milk, add a couple handfuls of kale or spinach, 1 cup of frozen pineapple, 1 cup of frozen mangoes, a bit of fresh ginger and a teaspoon of this miraculous spice.
Yellow Mustard – Use this condiment, or add it to salad dressings with some vinegar and extra virgin olive oil.
Spice Up Vegetables – Season your vegetables, like broccoli, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, and cooked greens with turmeric.
