DIRECTIONS
In a large mixing bowl, beat the shortening until creamy and mix in the sugar gradually until well combined.
Mix in the eggs until well mixed.
In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, soda and salt then mix in the wet mixture until well combined.
On greased cookie sheets, place the cookies 2 inches apart after you shape them into 1 inch balls.
In a preheated oven to 350° bake for 10 to 12 minutes and let cool on wire racks.
