DYE YOUR HAIR NATURALLY: THESE RECIPES WILL MAKE YOUR HAIR PERFECT!

  1. Tea

Tea is best with your natural hair color; and if you have lighter hair, use chamomile tea for blondes, and rooibos for redheads. To go darker and cover the gray hairs, try black tea.

You need to put 3-5 teabags in two cups of water, leave the tea to cool, and apply it on the hair. You can add a bit of conditioner to it. If you want to cover the grays, mix in fresh or dried sage open up the hair follicles.

Leave the tea to act for an hour, or overnight, and rinse with warm water.

  1. Beet and Carrot Juice

You can use the juices alone or mixed together. If your goal is a more red color, add more beet juice, and you will get a strawberry blonde, deeper red or auburn. If you want a reddish-orange, use more carrot juice.

Apply the juice on the hair, wrap the hair in a plastic foil, and leave it to act for an hour. Add coconut oil to condition the hair. Then, just rinse with water and apple cider vinegar.

For a darker color, you might need to repeat a few times more.

  1. Walnut Shells

Walnut shells are ideal for a dark brown color. You should crush the shells and boil them for half an hour. Then, strain, cool, and apply the liquid to the hair. After an hour, rinse with lukewarm water.

If you want your color more intense, boil the strained juice once more until you get about ¼ of the original volume. Then, leave it in the fridge to cool, strain again, and pour through the hair.

  1. Lemon Juice

Lemon juice is perfect for highlight. Just spray it on the hair and brush it. Leave it for several hours. You will make it lighter if you dry the hair in the sun, and if you are blonde, you can mix the lemon juice with chamomile for even better effects. You will need to repeat this several times.

Hence, next time you plan to make a small change in your hair color, head to the pantry instead of the store!
