Every day we face different kinds of challenges that require decisions that may affect our entire life. It would sound a bit lousy, but one of it is eating. When to eat, how to eat, and most especially, what to eat are questions that we have to answer every single day. People have been more conscious of their health now than ever because of a lot of illness and health issues arising, such as obesity and diabetes. People resort to diet plans and fitness programs with the hopes of preventing illnesses and preserving their lives, and be more fit and active.
One way of dieting and trimming down weight and body fats is going through a low-carb diet. But it won’t be an easy journey, especially if carb-rich food has always been in your daily menu. Here are some tips on how to survive a low-carb diet.
Put eggs on your plate every morning
Eggs are known to be rich in protein and amino acids that are essential for your daily needs. Aside from this, eggs are among the food that ranked high in the satiety level index. This means that when you eat eggs, around one or two large eggs, every morning, you will feel fuller and won’t be consuming much in the next two meals.
Studies have even proven that eating eggs in a regular basis, especially during breakfast, can help you reduce and cut down some weight. Since eggs are easy to cook, you can do a lot from it, but the healthiest way to cook eggs is to boil them.
Eat more salad
Aside from the generous amount of essential nutrients that you can, vegetables are well known to be rich in fiber. Dressings won’t be much of a problem. Use healthy oils, mayonnaise and other spices so that you won’t go tired of eating salad for quite some time. You can also add eggs or meat (grilled chicken, ground beef, tuna or salmon) to boost the meal’s protein level.
