- Scallions

- Cilantro
Soak the stems in water, and new leaves will come out pretty soon. Plant them once they grow long enough. Keep the pot in an area with ample light. New plants will grow within a couple of months.
- Basil
Soak 3-inch basil clippings in a glass of water. Keep it in a sunny spot, and plant the basil once the roots grow about 2 inches long. Water it regularly.
- Globe artichoke
Artichokes are harvested only when they develop the perfect purple flower crown. You need moist soil, enough sunlight, and a proper drainage system.
Plant artichokes about 36 inches apart. Make sure they get enough sunlight. You need about 2 inches of compost, too.
Use high-nitrogen fertilizer every month. Harvest the artichokes in spring and fall, and only pick the close buds with long stalks.
Growing your own veggies is simple, and you will enjoy endless supply throughout the entire year.
